Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our industrial business in York, Pennsylvania . This position plays a central role in delivering accurate reporting, guiding financial planning, and helping leadership make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting knowledge, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate financial data into practical insights that support growth and operational performance.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with operational and senior leaders to evaluate business performance and support strategic financial decisions.
• Prepare and present timely financial reports, highlighting trends, risks, and key factors affecting results.
• Build financial models, investment analyses, and business cases to support capital spending and special initiatives.
• Direct monthly and annual close activities, ensuring complete and accurate reporting within established deadlines.
• Review financial performance against plans and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending opportunities for improvement.
• Lead the development of annual budgets, recurring forecasts, and longer-term financial plans.
• Maintain compliance with accounting requirements, internal controls, and company financial procedures.
• Coordinate support for internal and external audits and help address audit requests efficiently.
• Oversee payables, receivables, collections, disbursements, and cash flow activities in partnership with treasury and operations.
• Travel as needed to support business and finance priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Previous experience leading or supervising staff is preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across functions.
• Proficiency with financial systems and business technology tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to assess financial and operational information to improve efficiency and strengthen processes.
