For 20 years, our international network of teams have served clients at their sites, across 20 countries.PSS is part of Eurofins Scientific, an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services across multiple industries, through a network of over 950 laboratories in 60 countries, and c.a. 63,000 employees.Job DescriptionUses GC-MS, LC-MS, and/or ICP-MS to perform extractables and leachables testing in accordance with applicable protocols and SOPs.Generates, compiles, and analyzes complex data.Reviews test results for compliance and reports quality anomalies.Interprets current and historical data and authorstechnical summaries.Calibrates instruments orverifies calibration before use.Troubleshoots instrumentation and laboratory techniques.Complies with regulatory requirements and current cGxP standards.Participates in required training as both a trainee and trainer.Maintains laboratory supplies, safety, and compliance.Interacts professionally with vendors and cross-functional teams.Assists with method validation, as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in chemistry with minimum 2 years of relevant industry experienceOR Master's degree with any relevant industry experienceExperience in GC-MS, LC-MS, and/or ICP-MSExperience operating inside of a GMP lab spaceStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExperience writing and reviewing detailed technical documentsExperience with an electronic laboratory information management systemAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply. Pay is between $26.00-32.00/hr and determined based on experience.
